Extremely rude staff. I have an autistic nonverbal son with many health issues and I was charged for missing an appointment when he was in the hospital. I didn’t even have the gas to come to that appointment due to the government shutdown and had to have someone take us to the hospital. I called to see if there was anything we could do to help with everything my family is going through right now. For reference, my daughter has to have her eyes checked every 3 months. After 2 very traumatic experiences with the pediatric ophthalmologists at Children’s hospital, we got a referral to Pediatric Opthamologists in cranberry and let me just say, our experience was amazing. From the minute we walked in the door everyone was so nice and helpful. Our appointment was with Dr. Hughes and she was beyond amazing with my 2 year old. Be sure to expect to wait an extended time beyond your appointment time to be seen...I arrived 15mins early, and had scheduled myself to have 45-60 minutes for the appointment, (my work schedule is very tight) once it was clear they would not be seeing me for 30-45 minutes after my scheduled time I had to reschedule, ..after driving 45 mins to get there....no availability for 8 months...I waited two months for this appointment...I've dealt with this vision problem for 20 years, guess I'll have it for another 20. :-(
