We saw Dr Mark Mahood for an initial patient consult because my son has autism and has been diagnosed by several professionals since he was 1. My son has many signs of ASD (stimming, behaviors, food aversion, lack of social skills etc) and myself as well as many professionals have been working tirelessly with him for years. After 5 years of struggling with our child's chronic stomach aches and awful food reactions which we could not figure out, after seeing allergists and dieticians, after weeks and weeks of school missed, we finally got in to see Dr Mahood. Very quickly he dismissed food entirely and caulked it up to "abdominal migraines". He said they were diagnosing multiple children a week with this issue, he said it was related to anxiety and she would grow out of it.
