PSA: Always ask for an estimate! We went to CHOP Cardiology in Voorhees for a ROUTINE visit for my daughter. She has been going to a cardiologist since birth. We switched to chop just to try another doctor. I would have never expected CHOP to charge our insurance company $15,000 for a routine Echo, EKG & results reading. (The other doctor never charged our insurance company more than $800!) Costing us $2000 out of pocket for a routine visit!
