We’ve been patients here for 17 years, since my oldest son was born. We have always paid our balances and never refused to pay. Recently, we had a higher balance than usual. I told the receptionist I could pay $40 toward each balance today, but I couldn’t pay $200 all at once. We were there because my older son had a leg injury, my younger son needed a physical, and we also needed a prescription refill. I’m extremely disappointed and frustrated with the way this office has handled my account. Despite notices being mailed to me, not once in the four years I’ve been bringing my children to this office has anyone mentioned a past due balance at any of our in-person visits. There are even posted signs in the office about past due balances, yet no one brought this to my attention until now. Spoke with a office manager my daughter had an appointment said i had a passed due balance and that I would need to pay something now in order for her to be seen mind you this balance has been for 4 years and now just now it's an issue but when my other childeren were sick and I said I would pay for them to be seen I was told I was told it's illegal to accept cash from Medicaid patients like come on now I took time to come to bring her and was told I can reschedule when one of there workers called to ask me if I would like t... read more
