Both my twins went to PAT for speech therapy starting when they where 8 weeks old to help with nursing and oral motor skills. One of my sons went for head shape and tortacollis, we loved all the therapists and my boys graduated speech after about 4 months and from PT after 9 months. Disclaimer I also work at PAT so I am a bit partial 😉.
They have helped my son a great deal with his speech, physical, and occupational therapy. He is now after a year with them trying to say more words and his separation anxiety from me is gone. His seperation from was so bad that I could not leave his side for anything or he would meltdown to the point of making himself sick. Now I'll tell him bye bye to either go to work or check the mail and he says bye bye back without any meltdowns. I'll tell him that I have to take a shower and he doesn't have a meltdown. The therapist listened to my every concern. She was great with my son and he did great with her! We have only been for an evaluation and start therapy in a few weeks. My son has been in speech for a little over 4 years and every place we went before would only agree to one 30 minutes session one time a week. I asked for more intensive and they agreed to do 2-3 times per week! Well worth the hour drive one way I will have to make!
