I have never seen my son this excited about going to camp. On the very first day, he was already making plans to come back next year! From the moment you arrive at the Pedalheads Bethesda location, you feel welcomed. Manager Kaylah’s positive energy, enthusiasm, and encouragement immediately put both children and parents at ease. She makes every child feel seen, supported, and cared for. Our instructor, Taata, was absolutely amazing. We had tried many times to teach our son how to ride a bike without success, but she helped ... read more
This camp felt more like a glorified babysitting service than a structured biking program. This camp was great! My daughter loved it and learned to ride her bike in two days.
Pedalheads were amazing. My child went in a little nervous and not knowing how to ride her bike on two wheels, and by day 2 was riding confidently on two wheels. The instructors were patient, upbeat, and really knew how to break things down in a way kids understand. My toddler came home proud every single day. Highly recommend this camp for anyone wanting their child to learn quickly and have fun doing it. My child had so much fun we ended up signing up for another week. Highly recommend!
My five year old participated in the half day spring break program at the Petworth DC location. He says it is his favorite camp ever and has already asked when he can go back. In two days he was riding with no training wheels. By the end of the week he was a confident rider. I also appreciate that they teach bike safety and showed him how to fix his chain. He loved his counselors.
