This place is a disgusting, dirty and dishonest place. The director, Tescha Winters, claims the residents are doing lots of activities during the lockdown, and that they help the residents talk to their families on FaceTime. Lies!!! The director of nurses, Eva Cassias is a bitch! She told me and my sister that we could not even TALK to my mom on my moms own phone. That we were not ALLOWED to talk to my mom because we didn’t have power of attorney. The social worker there, Kimberly something, said otherwise. That yes! We were allowed to talk to my mother. So when we called back to try to talk to her, the director of nurses Eva Cassias, changed her tune and said we could talk to my mom , but that they didn’t have to help her call us from her phone, nor did they have to bring her to the nurses station so my mom could talk to us. My mom can’t hear very well so doesn’t always hear her phone. Eva Cassias said, “ If your mom wants to talk to you, she can call you”. This is how residents in lockdown are treated in this place! But my concern is that they have turned off her phone , or won’t help her charge it, or they took the SIM card! Before the lockdown my mom’s weight was good, because my sister was always taking food to her and making sure she ate. During the lockdown, my mother was sent to the hospital and my sister was fortunate enough to be able to see her. Well, she was skin and bones!!! Maybe they are feeding her frozen French fries again like the time my sister came into her room and she had been served a tray of literally FROZEN Fries!!! And yes ! Everyone she showed them too acknowledged that they were in fact frozen! Their response,”Well the oven isn’t working so we heated them in the warmer”!!!!! The warmer didn’t work because they were still frozen!!!! My mother’s clothes (nice, new and expensive) keep going missing and they don’t care! In fact , my sister was told that if my moms clothes were “too dirty” , they would just throw them away! What the hell!!! Stay away from this place if you care about your relatives. The head director of the “place,”, Tescha Winters, ( it is definitely not a “home”) is a liar!!! And the director of nurses, Eva Cassias, is a bitch!!! All they care about is the money they get! My mom called this place “a prison”. And Eva Cassias and the Pecan Valley Director, Tescha Winters,are the jailer and prison guard! I live in Tennessee, so I can’t see my mom very often, and they want to keep my mom from talking to me! These people are the worst kind of sick people! Don’t let this happen to you! By the way, they only got a one star, because this page wouldn’t let me give them zero stars!
