Legal extortion. PEC charges the companies nothing for their services. The contractors pay for the privilege of being deemed compliant by PEC. PEC demands payment a year in advance. They call it a subscription not to mention the set up fee up front. You will probably end up paying a third party to keep up with the constant communication required to stay compliant.
