It's a sad day when a beloved childhood treat leaves you disappointed. What happened to your quality? Harder texture, light coating of caramel, and barely covered in peanuts. What gives?
I bought some Mint Patties over the holidays at Fleet Farm. They use to be my favorite store bought holiday treat. I ended up throwing the bag away. The new recipe is nasty, I don't know what was wrong with the old ones in foil wrappers but these new ones are not edible.
Love the Pearson's Peppermint patties!! I think, they are the best mints ever!! I have one or two almost every day after a meal. The flavor of the mint, the dark chocolate covering, the texture & size is perfect!! I've gotten others hooked on them, too. Thank you for making them that way!!
