Received an offer in the mail: Purchase select sunglass frames valued at $119.00 or more (excluding ray-ban, or Oakley, and the prescription lenses are free. I found a pair of Nike brand frames( price $130.00, on the wall they were regular glasses). I asked the sales lady if I could purchase them. She stated She didn’t know, and I’d have to call in the morning to check with the manager because she wasn’t sure. Refuses to give me my records because my prescription is a year old.
Nice people. They will try to "upsell" but they have a business to run after all. Overall: a good experience. The 8-10 day delay to get my glasses is a negative. However, they should be done correctly...maybe it is worth the wait.
I use to always go to Pearl Vision for my glasses, over 20 years in fact. I recently scratched 1 lens on my sunglasses purchased there about 1 yr. and 3 months ago, but because it was over 1 year their policy was that I needed to have another examination. I might add that I spent about $900 there last year on exam and purchase of 2 pair of glasses. I just wanted 1 lens replaced without another examination so to keep my cost down as I can't afford any extra bills right now, but they wouldn't help me because it's their "policy... read more
