Best staff from scheduler to optic technician to optician. I had read a review where the reviewer said he could not use his old frames here but I am using mine without any issues or resistance. Another review said that the staff refused to give him a written prescription, and I received mine just fine. No hassles… Next day appointment and now glasses within 24-48 hours. Great experience!!
My wife and I had scheduled an eyeglass and contact appointment mainly to renew prescription over the phone. We got it scheduled and came all the way from Los Lunas to Albuquerque to the location to be told we didn't get our appointments scheduled correctly and shifted the blame on us saying we didn't say it over the phone even though we knew we were clear about what we wanted and be charged $600+ for both our appointments. **UPDATE** - Note the reply from the store. It is not a policy with the insurer, it is a store policy. I went to LensCrafters and had them file a claim for just lenses to be put into my old frames. No issues. -Original review: I gave them an extra star because of the good service from the technician during the eye exam. Listen, if you are looking to use your Eyemed insurance to file a claim for just lenses to be put into your existing frames, you can do this but this store will not let you. I went in to get my prescription sunglasses tightens and Pearl Vision cracked the lenses. I was told they would replace my sunglasses, even though they were purchased elsewhere. They were never replaced. My intentions were simply to get an adjusted, unfortunately I walked away with cracked lenses. I do not recommend Pearl Vision due to the fact that they broke my new sunglasses, offered to replace them and never did on top of an unhinged manager who is the owner, cussing up a storm because his associates messed up.
