RecommendedI stopped in today to get two pair of my husband’s glasses repaired. Expecting to pay for the service of course. Not only did they not charge me they were the most pleasant of employees I think I’ve ever been served by anywhere! Great job finding your employees Pearle Vision!!!
I will not return to this place. The dr did not want me to get contact because my prescription was to hard to fill and I "wouldn't be able to wear the all the time" (after friends with the same thing told me they were them all the time I got a second opinion...was told it was an easy prescription to fill) So I ordered glasses (expensive even with insurance) I was told they would be in within 7-10 days. at day 10 I called and was told it's a 12-14 turn around. Had a wonderful experience at this office. Called in to book appointment as the normal place I go to had no doctors available, and Pearle Vision Harrisburg was able to schedule me in the very next day. Staff was very friendly, and the doctor (Dr. Whitlock) took the time to explain everything up front to me: what costs I would be looking at based on my insurance, and also step by step what the readings of my eyes meant. Dr. Whitlock is amazing. Glad Dr. Whitlock came out of retirement for his patients. It is ashame that Dr. Gamuzza that had bought the Harrisburg Pearle Vision was a crook.
Not up front about "fitting fee" of 100.00 over and above 90.00 contact lense exam, found out when I paid for the contact lenses ordered from there, so total was 190.00 plus cost of contact lenses. Total rip off of the customer..after the 90.00 exam.
