Hard to find in the mall with next to no signage. Went in to get a wire fixed on a pir of glasses and was told their technicean was coming in "in a couple of hours" and i could drop them off and pick them up at the end of the day - 8 hour later. The other two times I have had this wire fixed it took 10 minutes. Very dissapointing experience.
The staff is not what it was. Years ago this store did a good job on my tricky bifocal prescriptions. But I went back recently to complain about my last prescription after my optometrist said it was off. One of the service people was indifferent, and the other was downright hostile. I'm giving up on this outfit.
I can't believe how many negative reviews this place gets! Janice, Anthony, and Kim were all fantastic. Janice performed miracle surgery on my completely bent frame, Anthony was super friendly and informative, Kim spent a great deal of time explaining all the pricing and promotions. This was even in a time that they were pretty busy. Very grateful that I didn't let the surprisingly negative reviews dissuade me from visiting! I have nothing but great things to say about Pearl Vision and everyone that works there. They were were very helpful from the exam, to explaining everything they were doing and checking for, to helping me pick out my first pair of glasses to even shipping them to me since I was leaving the area for an extended period of time. Thank you!
Dr. Kelly Abbot is horrible! She performed my annual eye exam and only gave me a perscription for my glasses. When I asked for my contact prescription she said I would have to come back so she could see if they fit. I have been wearing contact since I was in highschool. I didn't want to come back and pay for another visit. She said it wouldn't be fair if she gave me my prescription because she makes all her other patients come back. She said my out of pocket would be $130 to come back because of my insurance. She's a CROOK! ... read more
