I’ve been a member of Pearland CrossFit for the past 3 months, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best fitness decisions I’ve ever made. From the moment I walked through the door, I was welcomed by a friendly and supportive community that makes every workout easy!
Went there utilizing class pass and both the community and the coaches were amazing!! I ended up going three times while I was in town and wish I lived in Houston! It was my first time doing CrossFit but the coaches Kat, Lindsay and Ricardo were awesome and super patient. They ensure you have the correct form but also give you room to grow. The community was super kind and motivating. Definitely recommend .
Some of the coaches seemed pretty good, but the head coach or the owner appeared to lack cultural sensitivity.
I started here end of February 2024 and weighed 200lbs. Within weeks I lost 30 lbs. The people are really nice and the coaches push you to challenge yourself. Since I've started, I can do handstand pushups, push press 100#, deadlifts 155#, and power clean 125#. Until then I would wouldn't exceed 50#. They teach you the correct technique and encourages you. First time I tried to come back in 2022, the gym was closed even though I booked a session through ClassPass which said the gym would be open. Eventually I made it back to take a couple of classes. After my 2nd or 3rd class, I was the only student in the class that would happen after dark. The coaches seemed to feel uncomfortable with this, so they texted the owner who I’m guessing informed them to take a picture of me in case anything happened?
