As always, this place is awesome!
We have been EXTREMELY LOYAL customers at Pearl Garden for well over 40 years. We also have always referred people to this restaurant. BUT I will never go back nor encourage others to eat there after the rude customer service we received tonight. We arrived at approximately 8:29. Waited to be seated and was asked If we were eating in or out. I said in. She said can you eat in 30 minutes because we close at 9:00 pm. If you used to frequent this place over the years, save your money and go down to mcdonalds. Apparently under new ownership and although they claim to have the same dishes, they are definitely not being prepared the same with the same recipes. None of the food had any flavor. The green onions in the lo mein tasted rotten. Rice was just mush and the sweet and sour sauce was chunky and also flavorless. The egg rolls were burnt but somehow still cold in the middle. Won't be back.
