Tried again after months after food quality and taste changed. Out of chow mein and told me lemon chicken could be prepared with salt/pepper chic and some lemon sauce poured on it. It was terrible. This place has gone down hill. Nope won't be back. But the nice gal did give me won tons on the house since she felt bad.
The best Chinese food in Tuscaloosa! We had the generals chicken and chicken fried rice. The portions were great and well flavored. We added brown sauce to make it extra yummy. We drove through only 10 minutes after ordering and it was completely ready & hot to go! We loved it!
Chicken lo mein is awful. Go to Hot Wok Express!

We have been EXTREMELY LOYAL customers at Pearl Garden for well over 40 years. We also have always referred people to this restaurant. BUT I will never go back nor encourage others to eat there after the rude customer service we received tonight. We arrived at approximately 8:29. Waited to be seated and was asked If we were eating in or out. I said in. She said can you eat in 30 minutes because we close at 9:00 pm.
