BEST BBQ I'VE EVER HAD! Seriously, we drive from Orlando to eat here. So many sauces, so many sides, homemade pies and great service! Favorite BBQ spot by far!!!
Once having introduced my granddaughter to Pearlz country store we now have to stop there every time we go to the Shands dental clinic in Gainesville. The barbecue was amazing, I love the coleslaw, and the Mack and cheese is to die for. However I will eat my dessert at home, minor better!

I love Pearl's. It is truly the best BBQ in Gainesville/Micanopy with a great drive and its no nonsense convenient store gas station storefront. That is how one really enjoys the south, eating bbq along the highway from picnic tables.
My wife and I stopped but today and had two pork sandwiches and beans and slaw! A guy in line told me I was about to have the best BBQ ever. He was so right! Well done! We will be back for sure!
Outstanding barbecue. Easily worth the drive from Gainesville. Get the mustard barbecue sauce with your order. You won't regret it.
This place is a staple in these parts, so I am told, but the girl at the counter must live a miserable life as she was the rudest, most apathetic employee I have ever seen. Almost left 60$ of barbecue on the counter.
