If there was an option to give 0.5 star rating then I certainly would have done so without hesitation. Purchased 1st set of loft stairs and paid balance in full prior to the commission of the staircase after I had to provide the proposed staircase drawing. It transpired the drawings I gave did not meet building regulations and a week of going back and forth I had to pay extra monies for an extra step at the bottom which had to be incorporated, fortunately I had the space to do this. Great service, fast turnaround, excellent quality. Very pleased with our new stairs and the guys who completed the installation. Would recommend Pear Stairs to anyone with no hesitation!
We had a walnut staircase from them where we knew it was difficult for them to procure the raw material. They went out of their way to get hold of the wood and supply the finished article - which is stunning. Their fitters were accommodating and paid incredible attention to detail. It's not a great start, to be honest. We were not given all the options for our staircase. Had to have it redesigned, but the designer didn't pass on info for our quote. We paid what we thought was the full amount, but once we discovered it had changed by the stairs case not being made, I called to get greeted by a team member who lacks customer service and helpfulness.
