We can’t say enough great things about our experience with Carter! We originally came in for shoulder pain that was affecting our son while throwing a baseball. Not only did Carter help relieve the pain by correcting his throwing mechanics, but he also improved his overall flexibility and range of motion. Throughout the process, our son had a couple of sports-related setbacks, and Carter was there every step of the way, helping him recover safely and get back to doing what he loves. Carter was knowledgeable, supportive, and ... read more
I tore the labrum in my throwing shoulder and was referred to Carter at Peak Potential after surgery. As a college baseball player, getting back to 100% was my top priority—and Carter knew exactly how to get me there. He was with me every step of the way, even working with me out of his garage early on. I was back playing just a few months after surgery, until I strained my hamstring—and Carter helped me bounce back from that too. By the time the next season rolled around, I felt healthier, more confident, and more prepared ... read more
For over 2 years I listened to my daughter try to explain the pain and discomfort she was experiencing in her hip and back. We tried getting help from a sports medicine doctor, two PT’s, and a neurologist and nothing helped, leaving her feeling hopeless. She also has scoliosis, so we saw a specialist for that, but it did not solve the pain problem. I happened to see a friend who had experienced a major injury and a long recovery, and she spoke so highly of Carter at Peak Potential that we thought it would be worth a try. It ... read more
I’ve been running for a couple years now and I’ve always experienced sporadic pain in my IT bands. I didn’t wanna go to a doctor because I didn’t think they’d really have an answer and wasn’t sure where to turn. I ran a marathon in the fall of 2024 and it basically sidelined me from running for months with debilitating IT band pain. Of all places, I saw an ad in my Facebook feed for peak potential that was specifically tailored toward runners. This appealed to me as traditional PT you’re often working with folks who speciali... read more
I had a grade 3 AC ligament (shoulder) tear from dirt biking in June of 2024. I was told at the time that I wouldn't need physical therapy and that it should fully heal on its own. Eight months later I felt less pain, but had a noticeable dropped shoulder and it just felt "off" when using it. The dropped shoulder made shirts fit weird. And my poor form was limiting my weight lifting and made me nervous about re-injury while doing activities I love like motorcycling and roller derby. I put off seeing a physical therapist beca... read more
