These guys are fast and efficient. I have brought 3 different cars to these guys. All of which were different makes and years, for inspections and maintenance. If you are looking for an honest mechanic who wants to help you stay on the road, these are the guys you are looking for.

They are not the cheapest nor the most expensive shop in town. But they've got all my business for the last 9 years because I trust them completely. I've seen the same faces at the shop for all these years and they've always done a terrific job on all my cars. Over the years they done brakes, rotors, struts, a clutch, many complete 30,000 mile tune ups and even a full engine swap for me and I've always been 100% satisfied with their work. Beware – After over 6 weeks of trouble shooting, John was unable to fix my car. Nevertheless, he charged me over $600.00 to get my car out of his shop. From Peak Performance, I took my car straight to Tunex. They had me fixed and on the road in less than 4 hours.

They're like family – John Peake and his crew at Peak Performance are like family. They help us to get the best out of our live vehicles, and tells us when it's time to lay them to rest. John even helps us check out used cars we were thinking of buying...and for free!!!! I need to send the man some good beverages if I can only remember to do it before my next crisis with one of my aging fleet. Goes beyond the call of duty-- – I was driving from NYC to Reno and started having an oil leak in Iowa--I thought I could get through the trip just giving the car more oil, but decided in Wyoming that it needed to be looked at, I came to car talk dot com to find a mechanic in Salt Lake City--I called 5-6 shops to ask if someone was willing to meet me after hours--John came back to the shop at 10pm to look at it--I ended up leaving the car with him and renting a car from the airport to continue my trip--the repair was perfect... read more

FANTASTIC auto repair shop! – I have taken our cars to Peak Performance numerous times over the years. The owner, John Peake, is a fantastic person. Honest, dependable, VERY knowledgable, and always upbeat. I have always been treated fairly and with respect at Peak Performance, and they have always stood by their work.
