This is the location you need to buy your pontoon from. Brady and Glen are very knowledgeable, Very kind, very service orientated. These guys are the best! I’ve been dealing with them for nine years and will not be going anywhere else.
In Fall 2024, I bought a used pontoon trailer from Pontoon1 in Mankato. I was told by sales rep Glen Miller that it had been inspected by their mechanics and was in good working order. That couldn’t have been further from the truth. On the very first trip (Mankato to St. Cloud), bolts fell out due to rotten bunk boards. One bunk snapped under minimal weight (~50–100 lbs) while loading the pontoon. I also found the “new spare tire” I paid for had a used tire with a plug in it — unsafe and misrepresented. The reviews for Pontoon1 are accurate, a 3.2 rating actually feels generous based on our experience. We originally visited the dealer with the intention of buying a new boat but decided to wait until the winter boat show, since we weren’t in a hurry. In the meantime, we found the exact same boat they were selling, only with 55 hours on it, through a private seller on our lake who had originally purchased it from Pontoon1. Terrible experience, bought a pontoon trailer fall of 2024 that was supposed to be inspected by their mechanics. I get from Mankato to st. Cloud to take a boat out of the water, bolts are missing because they fell out due to the bunks being rotten. Was able to snap one of the bunks with just like 50-100lbs of weight on the bunk when putting the pontoon onto the trailer. I came in as a customer needing a part for my pontoon. Another small business had damaged something on my boat 2 seasons ago and was not a Bennington dealer. They committed to paying for the replacement part. The process to having it replaced was a long one. 2 years (flooding last year all season) and I finally obtained the check from the small business and brought it in to pay for the part I needed replaced.
