Tuned up an older 6 hp evinrude motor for my sons first boat. Great personal service! We can run that motor with some confidence now and my kid is stoked!
Great service tuning and going through my Honda 8hp outboard. Brought it in on Tuesday and it was ready for pickup on Thursday. Included was a video of the motor running in the tank. Excellent service!!
I dropped my boat off to get my 25hp Merc repaired. Tom told me he would take the carb apart , Clean it etc.I picked it up 2 weeks later. Tom told me he water tested it and it ran well. I paid him $250 cash. He didn't do anything to the motor. He outright lied to me and ripped me off for $250. He was recommended by CV Marine. It's not their fault but they should be careful who they recommend. I know Tom will remove this complaint. Do not get ripped off by this guy. I was shocked. He never did return my calls.
I can't recommend Tom enough. My family and I broke down midway crossing the Strait and he went above and beyond. He made himself available via phone to help diagnose the issue (while we were adrift). He patiently walked us through troubleshooting and, although we couldn't get it running on the water, he stayed with it once the boat was back on land. Really positive experience with Tom. He’s honest and professional, which is hugely important for me when it comes to things like engine repair and maintenance. Equally as important - he knows his stuff. Would definitely recommend Tom.
