The worst place because they don't take Medicare
Nobody ever hopes to be admitted to a psych hospital, but if you have to go, this is the place. Big thanks to the doctors, nurses and techs of the 200 unit! Oh, and the cooks too. This place is a joke! The one thing about being depressed is the fact that you lose all motivation to do anything for yourself, they kicked me out because I supposedly didn't care about my medical health, I have type 1 diabetes and they couldnt handle the fact that it was bad, I didn't even ask them to help me with that, they are mental health staff, not once did they think that maybe, Instead of constantly offering snacks, lunch boxes, and taking us out to eat every week and actually helped me mentally I would actually get ... read more
-0 stars this place almost ruined my life. Thank God I got actual help shortly after I left peakview, or I would not be here right now. Genuinely the worst week of my entire life was spent here. I can't even begin to describe. Awful. Dr. Sangra (I think that was his name) was careless, uneducated, and disrespectful with my "interview". I came here three years ago and the experience still haunts me.
