My first time going to Peak Adventures, it was very good. The students work there, and even though the person helping me was new, I felt welcomed and heard. I was able to buy a bike lock. A perk of being a student is the discounts you get in the purchase AND I received an additional one that they gave during orientation. If you need something for you bike or you wanna get into anything to do with the outdoors, this is the place for you!
Came in looking to rent a bike for the day to ride the American River Trail. Was helped immediately and soon was walking out with a very nice hybrid bike in my size, which they made sure was perfectly tuned up before I left. Rental came with a helmet, lock, and repair kit, everything I needed for the day out. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, excellent equipment, prices, service, and experience. Will definitely return if I'm in the area again.
FYI - parking is NOT FREE and NOT easy for anyone unfamiliar with the area. Sure there are two 30 min free lots nearby… but I wanted to go for a 6 hour ride & park my car for the whole time. So … how much would parking cost me for 6hrs … and how would I know this information if I’m coming from out of town? I’m amazed at how hard it is to rent a bike in the entire greater Sacramento area. Especially on a M, T or W when all but 1 of the 5 rental places in the whole city are closed. Come on Sacramento?!! All these great bikeway... read more
Great place to buy a new bike or get yours repaired. Staff is knowledgeable friendly and professional.
Try the rock climbing at sacramento state. It's a great activity for team building and everyone is super kind.
