Excellent service from Jonathan. My 2cv needed all sorts of new bits & fettling. Jonathan kept me up to date with progress & issues along the way. He's clearly an expert with these vehicles and is not expensive. The car drives so much better now. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend & will be back for future work.
There’s no substitute for specialist knowledge and Jonathan is certainly knowledgeable. I recently visited for a mini service and MOT - Jonathan was happy for me to hang around and watch him work ... giving me helpful information as he went along... Needless to say, after his meticulous attention, “Amélie” sailed through the MOT. On top of that; Wirksworth is a lovely town to have a wander round whilst waiting for the car to return from the test station.
A proper specialist in the 2CV world, loads of knowledge and expertise delivered in a welcoming and friendly manner.
At the moment I am not very happy with the work carried out by Peak 2cv. Unbelievable expensive and poor standar of work. I had the floor panels replaced, obviously a body off job but, in all honesty, a Friday night finish to the job, body work not fitted properly, missing bolts, and where you would expect a seam weld and sealing, very badly done and more leaks getting in than before I took it in for the work. I have contacted Jon no and hopefully this will get resolved and will update this review accordingly.
