My appointment with Dr. Miramontes left me anxious and speechless. Never in my life have I been treated so badly by a doctor. She spoke fast, used complex terminology, and wouldn't let me speak during most of the appointment. When I did speak, she cut me off and talked over me. It was a cross between an interrogation and a lecture. If I could give her negative stars, I would.
Had her as my primary in the past, rude, dismissive and condescending! No empathy, I actually feel sorry for her, how horrible it must feel to make her treat patients this way!
Incredibly rude and dismissive. I’ve expressed concerns regarding my anxiety and depression, and she hardly listened to me. And being at my most vulnerable, she became increasingly condescending with me. She also didn’t put in a referral for me regarding a serious health concern as she promised and seemed confused. I believe we go to doctors to get help. I didn’t feel helped and plan to find someone else. Please don’t go see her.
I wish I’d looked at reviews! Moved to Fresno recently and am looking for a new PCP. Dr Miramontes is unbelievable. She literally argued with me the entire time she was in the room with me. She cut me off after we’d only been talking 10 minutes even though I had more questions. She opened the door and said “have a good day” and left as if she was disgusted by the way I’ve been caring for myself based on my own symptoms experience. This doctor rude & arrogant forces me to take medecine which I refuse to take because of the risky reaction it can do like blood clot & stroke. I said NO an she still prescribed it on my pharmacy. I had been on a medical field before & I know medications that is being prescribed to me. As a doctor, she should know the PATIENTS RIGHTS.....A RIGHT TO REFUSE MEDICATION.....She ditch me for noncompliance which I can sue her for refusing my rights.
