The staff at riverbend ER work extra hard and do so with compassion and patience, even with 50 patients and every bed taken. I have only ever received great care here.
Wait is too long. Been here almost 8 hours and still haven't seen an ER Dr. Probably 80 or more people in waiting room consistently all day. Hire more drs and/or expand patient rooms. Obviously current infrastructure is insufficient to support the general public's needs.
The staff allowed a police officer to illegally question my partner after an accident while he was not lucid and did not consent. The officer lifted my partner's gown and photographed his exposed genitals. We plan to sue.
People who cant afford to wait for hours to get nothing done What a JOKE
Maybe I am spoiled because I live in the triangle of NC with access to Duke, UNC, and WakeMed but this hospital wasn't great. We were there for 6.25 hours. At first, it was promising when we went straight back to the exam room upon checking in at 9:45 am and the staff were jovial. However, we found out after a CT scan was ordered it should take 30-45 mins (based on what a nurse told us). We were waiting for over 2 hours.
