People here are treated like rats. Something needs to be done, all they do is run you around, you don’t even get to rest in a room anymore, when you finally after 6 hrs get one. I was told to put on a gown etc. my bp was high so they machine kept beeping, but no one came, it was freezing and again no one gave me a blanket or offered. I have large bruises from where I had blood draws, and then they kick me back out of the room and in the lobby again with my migraine. Wow, shame on you peace health! The bad reviews are true the way they are so scattered around check blood pressure here ,register here,and what's your pain like here. Whoever designed process of checking in need to get there head checked . The security make you feel uncomfortable the wait time is horrible like 7hrs so far. Do not come they never should of shutdown Eugene ER. I ready to go home seen doctor however need my discharge paperwork which been waiting for 30mins worry in take longer just to get my paperwork. I remember it being bad 8-10 years ago, and from the looks of these reviews it hasn't improved. Just to make you feel even worse for being here, the hospital and ER where I'm living now (in Acadiana) are wonderful- seldom a wait for anything, everyone's nice, and for the most part they care. Night and day!
I was in the er at riverbend this morning. I had a few things that happened that I wanted to share. When I was triage the medical person opened a new blood pressure cup. It flew into garbage. She took it out of trash can and used it one me. That seems really unsanitary. I was told I would get an IV, I was dehydrated but never received one. I didn’t advocated for myself, but, I was alone and very ill. I could hardly talk and walk.
Came in for severe difficulty breathing. They triaged me and then left me to wait. When I asked the Triage nurse how long the wait would be he gestures to the full lobby and dismissively said "You've got time." After about 30 minutes of waiting I decided it wasn't worth the wait. Also the last time I came here I was misdiagnosed with an outer ear infection, when it was very obvious that it was an inner ear infection. Could not recommend less.
