The staff allowed a police officer to illegally question my partner after an accident while he was not lucid and did not consent. The officer lifted my partner's gown and photographed his exposed genitals. We plan to sue.

Maybe I am spoiled because I live in the triangle of NC with access to Duke, UNC, and WakeMed but this hospital wasn't great. We were there for 6.25 hours. At first, it was promising when we went straight back to the exam room upon checking in at 9:45 am and the staff were jovial. However, we found out after a CT scan was ordered it should take 30-45 mins (based on what a nurse told us). We were waiting for over 2 hours. We're done making the mistake of going to this ER. They were good with our young daughter when she needed stitches but if you're an adult female with a complicated medical history be prepared to be stigmatized, treated like you're mental and don't you dare have the audacity to respectfully advocate for yourself unless you want the staff to passive agressively retaliate by placatingly pretending to listen before ignore everything you tell them about your medical problem that brought you there, ordering testing that has no rel... read more
