Best stay we had on this trip south. Wendell and his wife are the epitome of hospitality. We will be back
My wife and I tent camped for three nights by the pond and had a great stay. Peaceful Meadows is a hidden gem! Campsites were spacious, level packed dirt, and well maintained. The bathroom was very clean and the outdoor hot-water shower was a nice touch. Grounds are very well maintained. We are not much for fishing but other campers caught plenty of fish, and it’s just a short drive to Charlottesville where we enjoyed picking apples at Carters mountain and shopping at the Town Mall. Absolutely what we were looking for. My husband,dog and myself were looking for a quiet, peaceful get away for the weekend. Booked through Harvest Host. Michele asked my husband to call when we were about 20 minutes out so they could meet us. The entrance can be deceiving.. we paused for a sec thinking we were not at the right place(even though there is a sign ☺️) It just looks like a personal driveway with A lot of firewood.
