This is my 2nd negative experience with Peace River Electric. In between jobs and assumed there was a little bit of a grace period before they just come and shut your power off but nope! So now you charge someone $200 extra who obviously was struggling to begin with to restore. Not to mention they say they call and email and mail. I didn’t receive a call (with a voicemail), no mailer, they did email yesterday but I didn’t check my email until today and it was shut off! Customer service always quick. I have adhd and forgot to pay my bill lol so they cut me off now I pay it a month ahead of time so I am in the rears
Offers no grace period even when you make on time payments for 5 years. Immediate penalty charge the moment bill is one second past due.
Not only poor electrical service; excessive downtimes, but customer service is just as bad. We manage hundreds of properties and PRECO is the worst utility provider there is.
This place cares nothing about the people. I pay double what I used to pay for fLp and get way worse service and customer service. The fact that they speak to you and show no concern. No notice when turning off power to do maintenance. Come home to ac not working and being told I can submit a claim. But I have to pay our of pocket to get it working it can take weeks to get a call. Top it off we now have sick dog from being left in a extremely hot house. I would be charged with animal cruelty if I left my dog in a hot car. H... read more
