I was in town for a colonoscopy. I struggle with needles, and being in hospitals in general, so I went in already nervous about all of it. The entire staff in the day surgery section are absolutely fantastic. Friendly, calming, able to help crack jokes to make me feel a little more comfortable, and so compassionate. Dr Raees was amazing as well and I'm so thankful with how helpful he was along with the medical team.

Wow... I've been to the Peace River ER several times before, but this is the very first time I've ever been treated by a doctor with such attitude - feels rude to me 🤯 I couldn't help but wonder if it was because I'm an immigrant? I truly hope that's not the case (coz he is too for sure), but the way I was spoken to today and the dismissive tone that was used made me feel unwelcome and deeply disappointed. My first experience at this hospital as a new resident in Peace River was excellent. We went in on a Saturday afternoon to discuss options after imaging Thursday revealed problems. I parked, checked in up front, hobbled to the emergency room and had my blood pressure and so on done in less than 15 mins. We waited 20 mins in the waiting room and then 15 more after I got a bed. Waiting room was empty at the emergency entrance. Only we were there to see a doctor and we had to wait 4 hours to see the doctor unbelievable
