My daughter was seen at this hospital on September 24th/25th. She was discriminated against. She was treated abusively and disrespectfully by nursing staff in the emergency department, as was I when I called to ask questions. I am filing a complaint with the British Columbia College of Nurses. Also other governing bodies. These nurses must take accountability for their behaviour. I am not surprised at this hospital’s low rating. Change must come.

This is a very clean, well organized hospital - but what stood out the most was the staff, every single person I spoke to/received help from was incredibly attentive and kind. This has not been my usual experience at any other ER, so I was dreading even going. Was in and out fairly quickly and left feeling well taken care of, all things considered. Thank you Peace Arch
