We had a great experience here despite some of the reviews! The prices were very reasonable, and the portions were generous. The food was good, although the sauce was a little spicy. My favorite was the hash with rice and the pulled pork. And that pink lemonade hit the spot! The people were friendly, and the service was attentive and welcoming.

The greeting we received was attitude. From the cashier to the lady in the back.. It really felt like they did not want to serve us. The catfish was an 8/10. The hash was watery 2/10. The bbq sandwich was a 4/10.
I hate to give a local place with the right attitude and service such a poor review… But the food was not for me or my wife. Both of our entrees were very bland and the sauce tasted like it was just tomato sauce out of a can. The sides were good. But you go to a bbq place for the bbq… and there was no smoke in our food. The people were kind and the place is always busy so maybe we caught it on an off day!
