One of Orillia's great family run businesses! John and his staff are very personable and make jewellery shopping/repairs easy. A best friend and I have both invested in engagement + wedding bands with diamonds from P.D. Murphy. They offer on the spot cleaning and personalized service I am sure you will be impressed with!
This guy “John Murphy” can’t even successfully change a simple watch battery in a cheap watch. WHAT A JOKE! Perhaps he should be looking for another line of “work”.
Please educate your staff that you change watch batteries. I just came in because you had done one previously. You were busy with a customer & your employee said she didn't know. I asked if she could just quickly confirm, nope. I now have 2 new watch batteries done elsewhere in Orillia.
I brought my Citizen watch in to replace the pins. I was told approximately 2 weeks and under 40 dollars which seemed reasonable. I picked up the watch and paid $22, so far so good. As I walked out of the door the watch fell off my wrist, thankfully I caught it before it crashed to the pavement. I walked back in and they took the watch back. At that point I heard "I was worried that might happen". Which shocked me because I wasn't advised that there was any cause for concern or that I should worry about the watch falling off... read more
Unfortunately rating two stars. Brought my ring in for a prong check because it was catching on materials. But it came back catching even more and the diamond is loose:(
