I have been a patient with Dr. Johns for a few years now! I am always warmly welcomed into the office, and the office attendants know my name. They make me feel special when they listen to my concerns and assist me when scheduling my appointments. When I moved to Pasadena I was looking for a good Dr. Who is personable, who takes the time to listen and help. I was referee by another one of his patients, and I am so glad for that referral. This awful experience was on 5/31/24 at 4pm. The answering service here is incredibly Rude. I have a soft voice, but I spoke up for the woman who answered my call, however she kept pretending like she couldn’t understand me and then hanging up on me intentionally, while I was still speaking. She hung up on me 3-4 times and talking over me, without attempting to let me speak, sarcastically saying “mhmm uh huh ok thank you bye” obviously ignoring everything I said..before hanging up on me, even though I was still speaking to h... read more
I tried to make an appointment to see Dr. John. The receptionist took most my information and then said something in Spanish and hung up on me. I don't speak Spanish but her tone sounded like she was rolling her eyes as she said it. I won't be making an appointment here after that. If she needed to hang up the phone for some reason, it's not hard to tell someone you will call them back later.
