Buried deep within their highly onerous terms and conditions is apparently a clause that says they auction house can keep extending the time on the auction if they aren't getting enough bidders, without notifying current bidders. What's the point of even HAVING an auction, if the time isn't fixed and they can just change it whenever they want? I have purchased numerous pieces of equipment from PCI over the last 4 years. The first big expense was four open-air upright refrigerated cases that died within 3 months of operating (yes, all four died within 3 months, causing a major financial issue for us at the time). A Hobart automatic meat wrapping machine was purchased which didn't work. Paid over $7,000 for it, sank an additional $3,000 into it, just to be told it cannot be fixed.
