My Computer STOLEN with All of its Data at PC Laptops. Suing PC Laptops. I took my computer into PC Laptops for a checkup. I knowingly paid quite a bit more for the laptop by buying it at PC Laptops compared to "box" stores in order to receive what I thought would be excellent customer service, and a sense that they were going to take care of me and my computing needs. After I wrote this review on Yelp starting with "I have had," a contract I had to sign to get an upgrade included paying $10,000 if a customer made even "disparaging" communication about PC Laptops.I had to go to even this location for computer issues seven times over just 11 months -- and three times in just three-and-a-half business hours. There are other items I will not say only because I am an understanding person.

High quality locally assembled computers.
My father, a 70 year old man not entirely familiar with today's technology called PC Laptops in SLC to inquire about a new computer. He needed 3 things and 3 things only: 1) access to the Internet; 2) access to email; and 3) access to Microsoft Office. That's it! He is not a gamer nor did he have any need for a "industrial" computer with lifetime customer service. They sold my dad a $2,300 computer! Dated 4/16/14.While not deal with pc Laptops because they are very very over priced and they think their giving you a BIG discount by rewarding you with $400.00 credit for your old computer and another $100.00 if your a NEW customer.They quoted me a price of 1600.00 for a new computer AFTER giving me off 500.00 as mentioned above. I had a computer guy who builds computers check all the parts and he came up with a figure that by buying at a local computer supply store (Fry's) the whole thing MIGHT be worth 800.00 with out lab... read more
