My husband and I built a home with paytas. 4 days prior to closing on our home, their preferred lender Ameris Bank claimed we failed to qualify for the mortgage. We were able to dispute all of the false and fabricated excuses they provided only to be told “good luck we can’t help you!” Paytas never reached out to us while we scrambled to find financing.
