If you’re a small business, I do not recommend using Payroc/Payscape. We run a successful vacation rental business have been loyal clients of this company for over 2 years. I’m also a practicing attorney. Recently, they/the bank they have a relationship with (First National) have decided to start holding our money because, apparently, we are making too much. So if you are thinking of starting your own business and need a credit card processor, DO NOT go with Payscape (owned by Payroc) They may promise lower rates but they will backend it with fees out the wazoo... I signed a 3 year contract (which I am past) but apparently that 3 year contract automatically renews every year and unless you cancel within a specific 30 days they will charge you an early termination fee of $495... even during small business killing Covid times. We closed our business in Oct 2019! They have since continued to pull for their fees even after it had been cancelled multiple times! Has caused overdrafts. Contacted via email as so have proof in writing and still no resolve! We were promised they will take of it and apologized over and over! Still no refund!!! Don’t you this service!!!
It's like a circus, you never know if and when you're going to get your money. I'm waiting on receipts that should have come in on Monday, and today is Thursday! Avoid them, don't use Payroc, they are incompetent!
