I have purchased at least a dozen pairs of eyeglasses through Payless Optical over the last 10 years. I will be picking up a pair (progressive bifocals with scratch coating and a pair of single vision sunglasses that cost me $230) this week. In all those times only once did I have a problem, which they resolved. Yes, it takes 2 weeks, they are not a lab/manufacturer of lens.
