Pathetically bad "customer service". Their car has a leaky tire. No big deal, it happens. But there is no way to get through to anyone in customer service or roadside assistance in order to get it fixed. I'll wait it on hold twice, each for about 20 minutes, and both times after waiting, the line just disconnected. No explanation, just disconnected. Oh well, I tried to help them out, I guess they don't care about the condition of their cars, so it'll be returned appropriately.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!! I would give them negative stars if possible. They gave us a defective car. We went back. Gave us another “with a free update” (we got a jeep wrangler, an absolute piece of trash). Then that car wouldn’t start and we spent several hours dealing with the towing and getting back to the airport. We landed at 1PM and basically spent our whole first day here dealing with this problem. Worst car rental experience of my life.
At Maui airpot 40 people waiting and 2 slow people at the counter providing 15 min service per castomer. Las time I ever rent with this company that doesn’t give ……. About castomer service.
We weren't informed about about an "optional service" fee to add a second driver. We were charged $16.88 for refueling after we filled the tank! Payless is an ironic name- they are real gougers!
