Even though a car had been reserved for me they had no cars available. They had no idea if a car would be available for me at anytime that day
I rented an electric vehicle and was told at the counter that I would need to return it with 70% charge. When we got to the vehicle, it only had 25% charge which was not enough to get to our destination. A Tesla charger converter was not included in the rental. We stopped to charge just enough to get to our destination so we wouldn’t be late to see family before a memorial service. Rented a vehicle from July 2nd to July 7th and signed up for the Collision Damage protection. I returned the vehicle with a full tank of gas to avoid fuel fees . I was slapped with a $125 cleaning fee on July 24th at 10:45 pm CST. due to sand in the vehicle. Me and my family did not drive anywhere near sand. I spoke with 4 different representatives requesting pictures of the sand in the vehicle but have failed to send them to me. I asked the clerk when I was checking out about tolls, she clearly stated that the tolls were included, there’s even a scan box in the car for tolls, my credit card was charged for tolls and I was charged for gas when I returned the call it was full, I called them and they said they will credit my card for one gallon of gas, this is the amount of gas that was in the car when I returned it. I’m gathering everything and sending it in to the FTC.
Worst car rental company!!! Please read the reviews!!! It appears to be the cheapest, its not!!! I returned a day early and they didnt refund the day. They lied to me several times and charged an extra 65 for specially gas I could not get at a regular gas station .
