We experienced a mechanical issue with our rented vehicle. I asked them for a compensation on the last day of use as we spent wasted hours trying to get an exchange on the faulty vehicle instead of enjoying our day with our rental. They denied me. I am disappointed with my recent experience with Payless Car Rental in San Diego California. The car we were given during our trip had a non-functioning air conditioning system for the entire duration, which made the trip uncomfortable as it was a 90 degree weather.
