Everyone is right about being scammed. I over payed for 4 days. After all the fees & insurance they up sell you. Your going to pay about $611.45 for 4 day. Dont buy the insurance. Make sure you fill the gas tank because they faild to mention. They charge $7.99 per gallon.
The guys here did a great job adjusting to my travel plans ( even gave me personal cell #'s so I could contact them when I arrived after they were clased!). Oh, yeah. Their rates are low...I'll be back.
The people may it a great experience. Very polite and friendly. I WILL use Payless on our next trip from Philly.
Payless Car Rental at DFW location sucks. Just like the previous renter I received a a great deal for a rental car through my AMEX, but when I turned in my car I had 3/4 gas in the tank and the EE told me that I could save money if I go fill up the tank at the shell station around the corner. I did just that and when I came back they added on an extra hour ($40) so much for saving money since I had to pay for the high priced airport gas and on top of that get an additional fee. Great price, so I did give it one star. Needed to cancel my reservation, called three days on a row and could not anyone to answer the phone. I did not have internet service so had to call. Terrible customer service.
Great rate, but beware, book your reservation at least 4 hours before you need to pick up your car, otherwise you don't get the rate quoted online!
Avoid like the plague! I don't care what Brian said. Check Twitter #paylesscar and you'll see a whole wave of customer complaints. Main issue is they just keep charging you more and more and there's no way to stop the bleeding. What starts as a $200 rental ends up over a $1000. I've filed complaints with BBB, attorney general's office and VISA fraud department.
Very nice agents at counter. Good price. Some cars r older and have some stains and scratches but that's why they are less expensive. Ask for upgrades and they will give you a great deal, cheaper than reservation price.
The staff was incredibly courteous, and our car was in better condition than when we left it because they washed it. We've used two other airport parking services, and this is by far the best. You cannot beat the service or the price.
