Please don’t rent from them. I’m currently on line for one hour now and still have not been helped yet.. this is ridiculous and will never rent from them again.
Expedia will take you money fullly knowing that Payless/Avis requires a credit card no matter what. Then make you contact Payless/Avis who will try to tell you that it’s Expedia that cancels but no Payless cancels but Expedia issues the refunds. You have to call both. Now I’m waiting 15 days for my money back. What is the point of prepaying if they deny you the reservation at Pickup time?
Having to wait one hour and a half for a car when you already have a reservation is very disappointing
This place charged me for gas even though I returned it with a FULL tank. I even showed them the receipt. And they still charged me. Thieves.
The employees at Payless were all very friendly, and I want to give them credit for being courteous throughout my experience. Unfortunately, everything else about the rental process left a lot to be desired. The first issue was simply finding the shuttle at LaGuardia Airport.
