Have been fighting with Payless for a week to get my receipt. They appear to have charged me extra but can’t tell what for without a receipt (returned full even though it wasn’t full when I rented it). Their web based support is absurd - they claim to have my receipt but say they can’t send it.
Highly recommend to anyone wanting or needing a car rental service. From beginning to end, the process is and was exceptional. Staff were and are very cordial. Their customer service is very accommodating and assure they get you on the road in record time. Very good experience and service.
They charged extra for fuel even though the tank was full because I filled it up before returning the car. They also added some invisible fees and extra taxes. I paid for a child seat, but they gave me a dirty and unsafe car seat.
Fast and good service
Do yourself a favor and avoid this company. On 2/27/26, I arrived at LaGuardia Airport and went directly to the designated shuttle pickup area. After waiting about 15 minutes, I called customer service to confirm the shuttle was on the way. The operator instructed me to go back inside the lobby and “make a right turn.” However, airport security would not allow me back inside and directed me to remain at the shuttle station.
