Pretty smooth experience picking up and dropping off my car. The customer service was efficient and they accepted the insurance on my canadian credit card so great experience overall

Honestly, the experience was not great! The attendant at the counter was painfully slow , not helpful and not very friendly. To be clear ,I am not looking to make a friend as I try to rent a car but she barely spoke and made the process painful. I then had to wait for a car which took a long time because they didn’t have a car ready for me. I had to remind the agent several times that I was still waiting . I waited for the rental car bus to come around and pick me up. For one hour I waited in the dark cold night at LaGuardia Airport. All the other car rental company buses came around picked up their people and left. The Payless bus never showed up. I call customer service three times. No one could help me. I was so angry. I finally Googled it and saw Payless..... that they're a subsidy of Avis!!! Why didn't you tell me in the email that I should take the Avis bus to the counter. No one told me that. I rent from here faithfully. It’s fastest when you have everything reserved online and pickup in the am. Had one issue with a vehicle seats being stained they replaced the vehicle and I was on the road in 5minutes
