There were only two people in front of me, but the staff at the counter kept disappearing. We ended up waiting for more an hour just to be served. So ridiculous
They will make you wait in queue and asks accept terms and conditions page but charge $80 for insurance and road side assistance etc services with out letting us know that it is opted for a rental cost of $85 , they should better name it as paymore . I have credit card insurance, personal and also aaa for roadside assistance, but they still charged for all of these
Over two hours wait to get my reserved car, 1 hour of it was outside. When I finally got a car it stunk like an ashtray. When I complained I was told “it’s ok” then the rep walked away. I never signed nor initialed anything and never received an email with my rental contract. I’ll never rent there again.

I rented from Detroit Airport (DTW). It was a Payless reservation that was written on a Budget slip with Avis keys. Late night the check engine light comes on in Mid-Michigan. Roadside directs me to a Budget/Avis (same parent company as Payless) and tells me in the morning I can switch there. I'm forced to get a hotel. In the morning I call to switch and am then told a car wouldn't be ready til 4pm (I have the email and text confirming they will do the switch at the Freeland MI airport.
