DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. This company is worth 0 stars. I’ve had nothing but issues from the start and no one can get anything to work correctly. They have cost me hundreds and hundreds of dollars. They never respond to emails or calls and if you want talk to someone be ready to be on hold for over an hour. This company is an absolute embarrassment.
I agree they do not deserve even one star. My payroll was held one time and not released. I was never notified. My employees contacted me because they could not view their checks on line. When I questioned Paychex, the returned with the answer that one of the bonus checks for an employee was over the limit. No one has ever told me what the limit was. I am VERY UNHAPPY with Paychex. If I could give them a negative score I would. I am employed by a small business that recently sold their company and terminated their contract with Paychex. Along with our health benefits we were given the option to contribute to a 401K. Since the contract was discontinued with Paychex, they have basically been holding our retirement money hostage. Whenever a serious issue comes up, actually getting a human being on the phone feels like trying to contact a ghost.
