The reason I am giving them One stars is due to their customer service being spotty at best. The platform is horrible and not very user-friendly to employers from my understanding, as I have only been on the employee side of paychex.
If I could leave -5 stars I truly would. It amazes me that this company hasn't been sued into oblivion. I closed my business payroll account months ago and still receive bills from Paychex as well as penalties/letters from the department of revenue for mistakes made by Paychex that they take ZERO accountability for. Customer service is an absolute joke too. All they do is transfer transfer transfer you until you either hang up, or they hang up on you. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.
Trying to get 401k transferred over is a mess. This company has no one on there team that can answer any questions. There are better options out there.
Beware of this company they are the worst I have ever dealt with in 40 years of business. They withdraw money from your bank account without any notice or receipt when you call we just get transferred to some else
I have had the worst experience with this company. I have been trying roll over my previous 401k money since May of 2025. It is now going into September and I still do not have this situation resolved. This is super frustrating. I have been promised calls and emails and I have yet to receive a single one. Everytime there has been any kind of conversation it has been me calling in. I wish I wasn't stuck using this company.
