Simply put-this is the worst company we have ever done business with. If I could give negative 5 stars I would. Disorganized and completely unresponsive. Among their many other screwups, they deducted state taxes from an employee last year and never paid the state of Wisconsin, causing us penalties and interest, and 6 months later we still have not been able to get the money back. If i could leave 0 stars I would. Every year around renewal time it is nearly impossible to get in touch with someone to go over and renew my benefits. Last year they changed my plan so I couldnt go to my primary care dr after assuring me they were part of the plan. Would not recommend
This is the WORST payroll company I have ever worked with. Previously, my company was using Gusto and there was an issue with Gusto (not a huge issue). One day, well over a year ago, a guy from Paychex, Miller, stopped in my office and "sold me" on using Paychex. From the very beginning the customer service was horrible. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! They owe us money, and it’s been months, and months of a run around. My husband has called and sent so many emails. And still no answers. No one can tell you what’s going on. They give wrong information, if they give any information. Please look for another company.
I was suspicious that a business as large as Paychex could only manage a review number of 2.1. Then I talked to them, and now I understand.
