I’m an Arizona native who’s never panned for gold! We took our adult kids around the holidays to try something really authentic to Arizona, when they can in town. Rick (aka Raw) was fabulous. Learn to pan gold and take your family and friends on a prospecting adventure. We learned everything we needed to and now we go out on our own and prospect, finding a lot of our own gold. This is totally worth it. Knowledge is priceless. No other place I've ever been teaches prospecting. Only this place does so I highly recommend everyone go and learn how to find gold.

Awesome time, Rick aka Raw is an old school prospector who spent the entire day, we never felt rushed, to teach us how to view the landscape, take a test pan and stockpile and sluice pay dirt. We also spent time rock hounding, he had a lot of info to share. Well worth the money for the experience. Raw and his constant companion Kiddie looked after us like we were family. Great time. Learned about gold, rocks and minerals. Each of us came away with more gold than when we arrived 😊. Kitty, the dog was adorable.
