For years I held Dr. Stancel in the highest regards. Over the last month my love bird became extremely sick. Dr. Stancel was taking care of my bird. There were at least 4 times in this past month he saw him. At first we were told it was behavioral and the office suggested we get another bird. After days on end of my bird vomiting it became clear that was not the issue. After the third visit cultures were finally ran. That should have been done from the first visit. Dr. Stancel & his staff are awesome! I recently just adopted a bearded dragon and bring my other 3 here as well, and every time get great service! Maria and Dawn are awesome in the front and always make you feel welcome. My new bearded dragon has head tremors and some other stuff going on and I called this morning when they opened and they got him in same day for a sick appt! I really appreciate the care and compassion from everyone here, it truly is above and beyond. Looking for a vet for your pet can be a bit scary & I feel like I got really lucky to have found this office on the first shot. From Dr.Stancel & Dr.Caba to the staff in the front, everyone has been so kind, caring & helpful. Our visits have never felt rushed. I had experiences with Dr. Stancel years ago when he practiced in Nutley but I have had a steady ongoing relationship with him for almost the past two years for the care of my animal child. Christopher Stancel is experienced with many animals including exotics. He is a compassionate and kind doctor. I could not imagine trusting anyone else.
