Dr. Stancel is our bird’s Rosey’s vet. He and the entire staff are super nice! They truly love birds. I had to travel and my husband was in and out for the meantime while I was on my trip so we decided it would be the best for Rosey if she goes to boarding. We feel so extremely lucky that this place exists! Brought my bird in. Everyone was very kind but I felt that the vet should have let us know that birds can get critical very quickly and that this was the risk to my bird. The vet said the vitals are good and we can monitor for issues and wait to do the blood test if shes not too weak. but in many cases waiting is a mistake. my bird is now in critical condition at the hospital. Instead of making a few ominous remarks, it would have been helpful for the vet to outright say this may escalate and we need to maximize care. we wou... read more
Was told my bearded dragon was going to need surgery for an object, went here instead. Front desk very friendly. Maria and Dawn were very welcoming. Dr. Stancel gave us options and kept to being non invasive. My dragon passed the object with the medicine given to us.
