Paws N Claws Veterinary Hospital I have a working lab, which equates to a canine athlete. Dr. Pyne & Dr. Pyne are outstanding! They have the perfect balance of expert knowledge, skills and sensibility. They are the very best in their field.
The Perfect Blend The Dr.'s Pyne are the most knowledgeable and sensible vets I've known. Between the two, their clients have expert medical and surgical/technical skills available for their pets. Their bedside manner is likewise first rate.
Very Friendly & Caring I decided to schedule an appt. with Paws N Claws for a checkup for my puppy, after a visit to another vet didn't go too well. When we arrived, the lady at the front desk greeted us and was really friendly. When we were taken into the exam room, a vet tech came in shortly after and she was nice. She took the time to be friendly with our puppy because he was a bit shy and took his temperature and talked to us for a bit before the vet came in. Dr. Caroline Pyne was absolutely great! She was very friendly ... read more
VERY CARING AND COMPETENT VETERINARIAN !! VERY CARING VETERINARIAN !! Both Dr. Pynes are very caring doctors that really take the time to observe and treat your pet. They use the very basic observation skills, coupled with high tech diagnostic skills in a variety of subspecialties, to provide excellent care. I have taken my very ill cats, with two different chronic illnesses, my very young, but accident prone cat, and my two exotic birds to Paws and Claws, and have always been very happy with the care. They also offer boardi... read more
Very caring and competent We adopted a new puppy and were very thrilled as anyone would be. Unfortunately 4 days later our thrill turned to terror. Our puppy spent an entire day with Dr. Pyne (Caroline) That evening I picked up the puppy with some med and lots of instructions. Caroline was very concerned. We ended up in the middle of the night at an emergency hospital. We discovered our new puppy was born with a liver shunt and surgery was the cure. First thing in the morning I got a call from Terri. She was very sympathetic... read more
If you want personal attention go here If you are looking for a verterinarian that truly cares about his/her patients, this is the place to go. They will always call you and your dog by name - it will feel as if you have been friends with these people forever. If your dog is feeling nerverous the entire staff will come in to try and comfort your pet. We thought out pet had eaten something bad and did not want to take any chances so we called the vet and he gave us his home phone number, told us to call anytime day or night i... read more
Glen & Carolyne Pyne are the best!! I have been going to Paws N Claws for about 10 years now. They have taken care of my dog and my cats. I found them when I had a kitty that everyone else wanted to put down. I had even been going to a specialist that was costing me a fortune. When I found them I was very impressed with Glen as he seemed to know all the same stuff as the specialist did, but he didn't want to put my Puppy(cat) down. Puppy(cat) lived for 9 years with all his troubles and seemed to be a happy cat. He couldn't o... read more
Overpriced and Heartless--don't go here! This vet is overpriced and heartless. A couple of months back my dog had a minor surgery with Dr. Pyne, and died the next day. He didn't even call me or send a note of condolences, which the emergency animal hospital did do, even though they really didn't even know me. When I went back to them to ask for a break on the price of the surgery, since my dog didn't even live, they only gave me a little bit over $100 back, even though the surgery was about $1100. After years of paying over-... read more
