When we got our Tibetan Terrier puppy, I knew her personality would be perfect for pet therapy and I made the commitment to train with her. Paws and Possibilities has an amazing program to achieve this goal! Jovone and her team are not only trainers, they are also pet therapy dog handlers so they can share experiences to set us up for success. All skills are taught with positive reinforcement. Instead of 1x a week on Saturdays at the Petstore, there's numerous classes during the week to choose from. We had 1:1 conversations with Sam, which were very helpful. The trainers are knowledgeable and helpful and work on real world situations the dog would be in. As you progress, the classes focus on different areas of behavior. Highly recommend
I cannot thank Paws and Possibilities enough for the time they took training my yellow lab puppy Murphy. Not only did they train him, but they trained me on continuing with his training! I can now walk Murphy, who is 7 months old and 86 pounds, without pulling me down the street! He was also taught impulse control and his manners have come a long way.
Kim and all the trainers at Paws and Possibilities are wonderful. The classes are fun and extremely helpful with training all kinds of dogs. There truly is something for everyone - from puppies to reactive dogs or those who just want to learn more. Can't recommend them highly enough!
Two sibling male 9 month.old rowdy puppies went in and two calm responsive young dogs came out. Kim’s training program is a beautiful thing to watch and we learned so much from the daily videos posted. The facility is clean, safe and the pups were never left unattended. We look forward to the post training sessions available to us. We highly recommend this training and boarding program.
