I left my 2 year old lab for a board and train (honestly because we were going on vacation and her reactivity kept me from feeling comfortable leaving her with a friend). This experience was amazing. I was given tons of videos every day to help me understand what was being done and what I would need to continue to do at home, and then when we picked up, we had a whole lesson about how to continue to make progress. I have been bringing my dogs to the team at Paws and Possibilities for years and they are amazing. I just had my dog there for a board and train stay so that she could learn to calm and composed around groups of children. She learned so much and grew drastically! What a difference the time at Paws and Possibilities made! I recommend them to everyone.
We have had an absolutely terrific experience with Paws & Possibilities. First a shoutout to Kim's (owner) wonderful trainers who talked us through the options and what would work best for our dog over not one, but two free 30+ minute sessions. They were incredibly patient and willing to talk us through all of the options to help us determine what was the best course of action for our large, fearful 2 year old rescue. When we got our Tibetan Terrier puppy, I knew her personality would be perfect for pet therapy and I made the commitment to train with her. Paws and Possibilities has an amazing program to achieve this goal! Jovone and her team are not only trainers, they are also pet therapy dog handlers so they can share experiences to set us up for success. All skills are taught with positive reinforcement.
